MANTOVA/ITALY
We arrived in a rainy Mantova yesterday morning. Around two o'clock we realized that the weather wasn't going to be any better, so we took a couple of taxis to the city center and... wow!! This is one of the most beautiful & picturesque city we've ever visited. The whole center is like stepping into an epic movie with side-scenes from the fifteen century. We walked around for hours in the rain and then had a really good lunch in a small café. When it started to get dark we went back to our bus behind the venue and watched around 7 movies before we decided to call it a day. A rainy day.
Today the weather is better than yesterday and we are
gourmandizing in the long lost catering again. A couple of us has had a pretty low profile when it comes to alcohol the last couple of days. When you've done a couple of tours you know how to read the warning signs from your body when it slowly shuts down :-) Another good outcome is the extra energy we gain that we can put on stage show instead of getting our shit together farting in the bus. We will never learn!
We're looking forward to play in Italy again. World capital of illegal merchandise. Tonight and tomorrow VOLBEAT is sharing the stage with us as well. I hope their up to getting initiated in some of the Swedish traditions that we're carrying with us on the tour.
