It was a really nice surprise for us to enter the stage at Sweden Rock Festival at noon the “first” festival day. We were expecting a couple of hundred hangover or newly arrived spectators and got 10000 people curious if PAIN really were as bad live-act as mentioned in the Sweden Rock forum. As “first timers” on this festival we really hope that all of you were satisfied and that we’ll get the opportunity to come back and do an even better show on a better slot. The day before the show was Peters 25th birthday, and of course we had a little surprise for him on stage. He he he… Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to stay and party with our friends since we had to go to Germany the same day. Next time – New chance. One last thing… Uriah Heep are not to blame…
Our journey to Germany was long and full of liquids, and when we arrived in Nurnberg a really nice Nightliner was waiting for us. Our temporary home and crash site for a couple of days. Ewo didn’t make it thou since his flight from Helsinki was cancelled?! Today’s show at Rock Im Park was also a kind of surprise. Full house, a lot of PAIN T-shirts and a shit load of singing along. We had a great time even thou we only had 30 minutes to play with. Ewo arrived in time to fill our fridge (both in our dressing room and in the bus) and make sure that we all were feeling as good as possible. Santa Claus.
At the moment we’re in our bus restoring the fluid balance waiting for something unexpected to happen. BBQ anyone? Someone was talking about descending upon Nuclear Blast to study bottle bottoms. We’ll see what happens. What ever it is, you will find out!!!
